Sponsored Walk
START THE JOURNEY WITH US! To start the Journey Of Remembrance & Celebration on 19th August we will be walking from Redhill to Gatwick Airport before taking our flight. We would love people to join us on the walk and if you can be sponsored to do it even better - everyone is welcome!
The walk is about 10km and should take about between 2 and 2.5 hours - but there is no time limit to complete it. We will arrive at the airport right next to the main bus stop and railway station where you can get a bus or train back to Redhill to collect your car or travel home. You will be provided with a map which hightlights the route as well as identifies key places where you can stop for comfort breaks and refreshments!
The time of the walk will be confirmed on this website but it is likely to be about 10.30am for an 11am start on 19th August at Victoria House car park in Redhill.

Plan your own event
Whilst we are away individuals and agencies will be holding various events to further raise awareness and funds. Ideas include;

- Sponsored walks
- Cake Sales
- Sponsored swims
- Dress down days

Support us with some equipment or resources
We now have most of what we need to undertake the trip, however if you would like to help us by donating in order to pay for a night or two’s accommodation, transport, food etc we would be incrediably grateful. Please call the office and speak to one of the team about how this can be arranged. Average cost for a day £30-£40 including food & accommodation
